Click on Picture to View Full Size Map courtesy of Digital Research Library, University of Pittsburgh The 1880 census lists Nicholas along with his wife and children living on Madison Street.9  Nicholas worked in the local steel mill.7 Sometime between the 1880 census and his death in 1891, Nicholas purchased property at 2104 Tustin Street.12  This was in an area of Pittsburgh known as SoHo, which is between downtown and Oakland.  His wife is listed at this address in the 1900 census. Nicholas signed his will on 23 Jun 1891, four days before he died.10  He left everything to his wife, Rose. Nicholas married Rose Ann QUINN, daughter of Patrick QUINN and Rose NUGENT, on 29 Feb 1876 in St. Thomas, Braddock, Allegheny, PA.1 2 (Rose Ann QUINN was born in 1849 in Crosscavanagh, Tyrone, Ireland,1 4 12 died on 11 Mar 1908 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny, PA 4 12 and was buried on 14 Mar 1908 in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Allegheny, PA 9 12.)
